FAQ / Most common repairs
Is it possible to make this scooter go faster?
No. Making this model go faster would also make it illegal to drive the public roads.
Brakes make noise when driving
Especially new scooters might have this problem. The brake pads touch the brake disc slightly, and this makes the sound. It’s worth noting that this happens also with nonelectric scooters, but the sound can not be heard because of the loud motor. The fix is to use the scooter normally for some time. The brake pads will wear just enough to not touch the disc anymore. If the problem remains, try cleaning the brake discs with brake disc cleaner product. If the brake disc is not straight, that could also cause the sound. In this case replace the brake disc.
The scooter seems slow and powerless
Make sure that the battery is fully charged. A good idea is to charge it overnight. Also make sure that the tire pressures are on a right level. 1.6 BAR is a good pressure for this model. Also make sure there’s no drag in the brakes.
Is there a speedometer available for this model
No. We recommend to use a third party speedometer or GPS of a mobile device for this.
The lights are not working properly
Likely the problem is with the wiring of the lights. Measure if there is current coming through the wires. If not, then replace the wiring. If the problem is with the lights, we have some improved light units available that can be used with this model.
Customer wants to buy motor insurance
It’s not possible to have this kind on insurance in Finland for a light electric vehicle. A good home insurance package should cover the driver and the scooter in case there’s an accident or if the scooter is being stolen.
The fenders are touching the tyres
There’s not much space in between the tyre and fender. The fenders must be adjusted carefully so that they don’t touch the tyre. It may be a good idea to drill new holes to the fender for the screws for better adjustment.
The handlebar does not feel steady, there is some undesired movement
The connecting part of the handlebar and front fork might be damaged.
The seat is wet from the inside, it’s like a sponge under the rain
Problem can be solved by updating the seat to a new model without the stitched stripes.
